Waves of Aloha 7 Charm Necklace (Project Hawai’i Holiday Season 2024)
Waves of Aloha 7 Charm Necklace (Project Hawai’i Holiday Season 2024)
This piece was created exclusively for Project Hawai‘i this holiday season. Helping our homeless keiki is a cause near and dear to the artist’s heart, having volunteered with various organizations throughout her time in Hawai‘i, all dedicated to supporting children in need. She has also worked with homeless keiki at Hilo Medical Center as a Pediatric-Surgical RN and at Queen’s Medical Center as an ER RN. 100% of the funds raised from this piece will be donated to Project Hawai‘i.
About the piece (from left to right): Amber seaglass from Moloka‘i, cone shell from Kaua‘i (west), aqua seaglass from Maui (west), sunrise shell from O‘ahu (deep waters off of the North Shore), purple cowrie from Kaua‘i (north), a wave charm to symbolize the wave of aloha, and a mini conch from the Big Island (Hilo). The artist selected pieces from her collection representing different parts of Hawai‘i to symbolize unity and harmony.
Background: Project Hawai‘i, Inc. provides services to over 1,600 individual homeless children annually across the islands of O‘ahu, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawai‘i.
